HOLLYWOOD -- Alan Saxe has been tapped senior VP of business and legal affairs for the Oprah Winfrey Network.
Responsibilities will include negotiating all TV and digital agreements as well as handling acquisition, financing and production contracts.
Saxe arrives at OWN, which will launch late this year or early next year on the Discovery Networks platform, from Warner Horizon Television, where he was senior VP of business and legal affairs.
He will report to OWN prexy Robin Schwartz and Robert Tercek, president of OWN Digital Media.
