Zac Efron honored by ShoWest

Actor is breakthrough performer of the year

ShoWest has tapped Zac Efron as its breakthrough performer of the year.

Efron next stars in "17 Again," opening April 17.

Previously announced 2009 Showest honorees include Sienna Miller, Chris Pine and Bradley Cooper.

Confab will be held in Las Vegas from March 30-April 2.
