Susan Lyne and Mike Nichols will be honored at the Public Theater’s 2009 summer gala, to be held on the opening night of the Public’s Shakespeare in the Park production of “Twelfth Night.”
Past gigs for Lyne, a longtime member of the Public’s board, include prexy-CEO of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia and prexy of ABC Entertainment.
Nichols helmed Meryl Streep and Kevin Kline in the Central Park staging of “The Seagull” in 2001.
Gala event, set for June 25, includes an outdoor dinner followed by the opening of “Twelfth Night,” toplined by Anne Hathaway.
