Andrea Nellis joins Public Theater

Daniel C. Smith named director of finance

Andrea Nellis has become the general manager at Off Broadway's Public Theater, while Daniel C. Smith has stepped up to the newly created position of director of finance.

Nellis, whose resume includes stints at the Brooklyn Philharmonic and the Brooklyn Academy of Music, has been chief financial officer of the Public since late 2007, while Smith, who worked for 12 years at Playwrights Horizons, has been the Public's controller since early 2008.
