"Watchmen" star Jeffrey Dean Morgan is in negotiations to topline "The Losers" for Warner Bros. with Sylvain White directing.
Project's an adaptation of the DC-Vertigo comicbook about a band of black ops commandos who are set up to be killed by their own government. They barely survive and set out to get even.
The James Vanderbilt-scripted project is being financed by Dark Castle Entertainment with Dark Castle's Joel Silver, Weed Road's Akiva Goldsman and Kerry Foster producing.
Morgan starred opposite Hilary Swank in "P.S. I Love You." White last directed the Screen Gems hit "Stomp the Yard."
