Film reteams Heigl with helmer Robert Luketic, who most recently directed the thesp in upcoming romantic comedy "The Ugly Truth."
Story kicks off when a woman meets the man of her dreams while on vacation. Married bliss is turned upside down when they discover that their neighbors may be assassins hired to kill them.
Scott Aversano is producing alongside Katalyst Films' Jason Goldberg. Mike Karz, Josie Rosen, Christopher Pratt and Chad Marting will serve in some producing capacity.
Film begins helming next month in Atlanta and the south of France.
Heigl has been the subject of rampant rumors that she is leaving her starring role on ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" to focus on movie work full time.
