Towne
Robert Towne will be presented with the AFI Dallas Star Award at this year's fest, which runs March 26-April 2.
Towne will receive the award prior to a screening of "Chinatown," for which he won the 1974 original screenplay Oscar.
Following the screening, he will participate in a Q&A moderated by Time's Richard Schickel.
Fest also announced 10 more pics that will unspool, including James Toback’s documentary “Tyson” and Scott Hamilton’s Oscar-nommed docu feature ‘The Garden.”
