Poker tour reups with Fox Sports Net

Cable network set to air 26 episodes

The World Poker Tour has extended its deal with Fox Sports Net and will begin filming the new season in a few months.

Fox Sports Net, which signed WPT last year, will air 26 one-hour episodes on its 16 owned-and-operated affiliates around the country. The net acquired WPT after GSN, which aired season six, decided not to extend its one-year deal. Previously, WPT was seen on the Travel Channel for the first five seasons of the tour.

FSN aired repeats of season one and new episodes of season seven in their first year of WPT coverage.
