NBC says yes to 'Payne'

Moynihan to write multicamera project

NBC has given a cast-contingent greenlight to an ensemble comedy from scribe Chris Moynihan about a young woman navigating dating life in Gotham.

Multicamera project dubbed "100 Questions for Charlotte Payne" hails from Universal Media Studios and Tagline Entertainment. Moynihan will pen the pilot and serve as an exec producer, along with Tagline's Ron West and Kelly Kulchak.

Moynihan has worked in front of the camera as a thesp, having appeared in the NBC rendition of Brit comedy "Coupling," ABC's "According to Jim" and the 2006 biz farce "For Your Consideration."
