Screen Gems has promoted Pamela Kunath to exec VP-general manager.
Kunath has become a key exec at the expanding genre label, working alongside president Clint Culpepper and providing business affairs counsel as well as strategic and tactical guidance across all of Screen Gems' activities.
Kunath will oversee operations and administration across all areas of the division's business, reporting to Culpepper.
Kunath joined Screen Gems shortly after its inception in 2001 and most recently served as senior VP of business affairs, responsible for negotiating deals for the division's productions and acquisitions. Before Screen Gems, Kunath was VP of business and legal affairs for Destination Films.
Upcoming Screen Gems releases include "Obsessed," starring Beyonce Knowles, Idris Elba and Ali Larter; Will Gluck's "Fired Up"; "Legion," starring Paul Bettany and Dennis Quaid; and the thriller "Armored," toplined by Matt Dillon.
