Randy Gener, the senior editor of American Theater magazine, has picked up the Nathan Award for Dramatic Criticism for the 2007-08 theatrical season.
Laurel is handed out annually by Cornell U. in recognition of legit criticism, with recipients selected by the heads of the English departments at Cornell, Princeton and Yale. Honor is named after late critic George Jean Nathan.
Prize consists of $10,000 and a trophy to be awarded to Gener in March.
