Berger has been at the helm of Warner Bros.’ U.K. office since 2002.
“He will bring a wealth of knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of big-budget film production and worldwide distribution to the role that will strengthen our board even further,” said the U.K. Film Council’s chairman Stewart Till.
The four-year appointment commenced Jan. 20.
