Warner's Berger joins UKFC board

Exec to serve for four years

LONDON — Warner Bros.’ U.K. prexy and managing director Josh Berger has been appointed to the board of public funding org the U.K. Film Council.

The announcement was made Thursday by U.K. minister for culture Barbara Follett.

Berger has been at the helm of Warner Bros.’ U.K. office since 2002.

“He will bring a wealth of knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of big-budget film production and worldwide distribution to the role that will strengthen our board even further,” said the U.K. Film Council’s chairman Stewart Till.

The four-year appointment commenced Jan. 20.
