The Marie Osmond yakker is a go for fall now that distrib Program Partners has sealed key clearance deals for the show in New York and Los Angeles.

“Marie” has been picked up in Gotham by WNBC and in L.A. by KTLA, Program Partners topper Rich Colbert confirmed Wednesday at the NATPE confab.

Deal with WNBC closed Tuesday night by text message as Colbert and others were taking in Donny and Marie Osmond’s stage show at the Flamingo Hilton, Colbert said. The “Marie” sale was the first bit of programming news to come out of this year’s subdued and sparsely attended conference.

All told, “Marie” is cleared on stations covering 70% of U.S. TV households, though some top 10 markets remain open, Colbert said.

Show is billed as an entertainment and lifestyle-oriented yakker, emphasizing Osmond’s off-stage life as a single mother of eight. Osmond and her brother Donny previously co-hosted a comedy-variety syndie strip in the late 1990s.

Show will originate from Las Vegas, where Osmond lives and is in the midst of a long-term contract with the Flamingo.

Colbert said Osmond was in the process of settling on an exec producer.
