Terry Clotiaux has joined Prime Focus Group as senior VP-chief operating officer, visual effects worldwide.
Clotiaux comes to Prime Focus from Digital Domain, where he was executive producer.
He also takes the title of senior executive producer at Prime Focus' subsidiary Frantic Films. He will work from Frantic's Hollywood office, where he will be in charge of building out the company's international visual effects biz.
Clotiaux is also tasked with turning Frantic's Hollywood, Winnipeg and Vancouver offices into a front end for Prime Focus, a global post and vfx network that extends to the U.K. and India.
Clotiaux's credits include "The Golden Compass" and "Speed Racer" at Digital Domain and "Spider-Man 3" for Sony Pictures Imageworks. He was a vfx producer on "Independence Day," which won the Oscar for its effects.
