Former NFL star Michael Irvin will host a reality competition series for Spike TV.

Spike TV has enlisted NFL Hall of Fame receiver Michael Irvin to host a reality-competish series in which the winner will be invited to the Dallas Cowboys' training camp.

The still-untitled skein, produced by 3 Ball Prods. ("Beauty and the Geek," "The Biggest Loser"), is set to bow in the spring. Irvin will preside over and judge an assemblage of six aspiring NFL receivers and six wannabe defensive backs. The winner will draw a spot in the Cowboys' training camp next summer -- and a roster spot in the fall, if things go really well for him.

Guest judges will include Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, as well as various ex-players and coaches.

Todd Nelson and J.D. Roth of 3 Ball will serve as exec producers.
