France's Wild Side to play 'Marley'

Wild Side is buying all French rights to Jonathan Demme-helmed docu "Marley," which it will co-release in all media with Jean Labadie's Le Pacte Films.
The company also is acquiring the recently restored biopic "Mishima: a Life in Four Chapters." A 1985 portrait of legendary Japanese author and playwright Yukio Mishima, pic was written and helmed by Paul Schrader and produced by American Zoetrope.
"Marley," which is endorsed by the family of the late reggae pioneer Bob Marley, is being produced by Shangri-La Entertainment, Tuff Gong Pictures and Demme and H.H. Cooper of Clinica Estetico.
Both deals were struck by Fortissimo's senior VP, sales and acquisitions Winnie Lau and Wild Side Films’ chief operating officer Manuel Chiche.
