DQ, Disney expand 'Twisted' deal

Series to be broadcast in 12 more territories

HONG KONG - Indian cartoon group DQ Entertainment has expanded its deal with Walt Disney Television International (Southeast Asia) for CGI-animated series "Twisted Whiskers."

Series will be broadcast on Disney Channel in 12 additional territories (Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia, Palau, Thailand, Vietnam Cambodia, South Korea, Hong Kong and Papua New Guinea.)

In December, the company announced that it had licensed the series to Disney in India in a deal also involving involving American Greetings and Taffy Entertainment.
