
The recently closed L.A. production of 'Wicked' at the Pantages Theater pulled in more than 1.8 million admissions.
The Los Angeles production of "Wicked," which closed Sunday at the Pantages Theater, grossed more than $145 million and registered more than 1.8 million admissions.
It set a single-week record in L.A. theater with a gross of $2,579,944.50 (nine performances). During the final week of the run, "Wicked" played at capacity, grossing $2,291,511.50, breaking its own record for a regular eight-performance week. The average weekly gross during "Wicked's" run at the Pantages was $1.45 million.
The L.A. production will transfer to the Orpheum Theater in San Francisco, where it begins performances on Jan. 27.
