HBO has hired Diane Tryneski as senior VP of studio and broadcast operations.
The ABC vet will be responsible for the general management of HBO Studios in New York and Los Angeles, as well as the HBO Communications Center in Hauppauge, N.Y.
Tryneski has worked at ABC since 1987, most recently as senior VP of TV operations. Her tenure at the Alphabet was truncated by a three-year stint at Discovery Networks from 2003-06, where she served as exec VP of production, technology and media services.
