Nickelodeon picks up more 'Penguins'

Net commits to 26 additional episodes of series

Nickelodeon kicked off TCA's Friday session, with DreamWorks Animation topper Jeffrey Katzenberg on hand to preview the channel's new toon spinoff "The Penguins of Madagascar."

Nick announced Friday that it has picked up 26 additional episodes of the DreamWorks CGI series, upping the network's commitment to 52 half-hour installments even before the franchise is set to premiere March 28.
