Duo to host Sci Fi's 'Ultimate Gamer'

The Sci Fi Channel has picked MuchMusic veejay Hannah Simone and "Attack of the Show" correspondent Joel Gourdin to host its vidgame competish series "WCG Ultimate Gamer."

Hourlong series, which features gamers competing for cash and prizes, is set to premiere in March. Sci Fi has ordered eight episodes.

Created and exec produced by Michael Agbabian and Dwight D. Smith (who collaborated on NBC's "Phenomenon"), series comes from Granada America, World Cyber Games and Samsung Electronics.
