The paper plans to allow ads only on the lower half of the page, or "below the fold."
An ad for CBS was the first to appear on the front page. The color ad, 2½ inches deep and spanning the width of the paper in Monday's editions, bore the ironic headline "Front Page News" and the Eye's favorite "most watched network" slogan.
