The IFC Center’s winter slate also includes “The Pervert’s Guide to Cinema,” a docu about movies starring pop philosopher Slavoj Zizek. That film will have its U.S. preem at the Center on Jan. 16, with helmer Sophie Fiennes appearing at selected showings.
Also premiering at the IFC this winter will be “Tokyo Sonata,” the latest from Japanese horror helmer Kiyoshi Kurosawa (“Pulse”); and “Dogtown and Z-Boys” helmer Stacy Peralta’s “Crips and Bloods: Made in America.” Peralta will attend selected screenings.
