Forest Whitaker, Samuel L. Jackson, Heather Graham, Joseph Fiennes, Dennis Hopper, Sidney Lumet, Quentin Tarantino, Terry Gilliam, John Patrick Shanley, plus producers Ryan Kavanaugh, Lawrence Bender and Mark Canton,who is Capri's chairman, are among those expected this year. Many are to be feted with one of the copious career nods given during nightly extravaganzas on the premises of the medieval Certosa monastery, which overlooks the famous Faraglioni rocks jutting out of Capri's deep blue water.
LINEUP HIGHLIGHTS
This year's lineup includes "Australia," "Doubt," "The Brothers Bloom," "Hurricane Season," "The Meerkat" (a docu narred by the late Paul Newman), "The Spirit," "Zack and Miri Make a Porno" and the TV series "Crash," most of which are making their European bows.
