NBC's "30 Rock" is in contention to repeat as winner of its comedy series trophy. The other nominees are HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm," HBO's "Entourage," NBC's "The Office" and Showtime's "Weeds."
Drama series mentions went to ABC's "Boston Legal," FX's "Damages," Showtime's "Dexter," ABC's "Lost" and AMC's "Mad Men."
Nominations for nonfiction TV went to Discovery Channel's "Deadliest Catch," PBS' "Frontline," Bravo's "Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List," CBS' "60 Minutes" and Showtime's "This American Life."
Comedy Central's "The Colbert Report" could repeat as winner in the live entertainment/competition category, where it is contending with CBS' "The Amazing Race," Bravo's "Project Runway," HBO's "Real Time With Bill Maher" and Bravo's "Top Chef."
The PGA awards will be presented Jan. 24 at the Hollywood Palladium. Nominations for features and longform television will be announced Jan. 5 along with the individual producers in all categories, following completion of the PGA's accreditation process.
