Bierko, Grant join 'Guys and Dolls'

Duo completes cast for Broadway revival

Craig Bierko and Kate Jennings Grant complete the list of leading players in the upcoming Broadway revival of "Guys and Dolls," joining Oliver Platt and Lauren Graham in the tuner.

Bierko ("The Music Man") will play gambler Sky Masterson opposite Grant ("The Marriage of Bette and Boo") as Sarah Brown, the upstanding woman whom Sky is challenged to woo.

Production, with Platt portraying small-time crook Nathan Detroit and Graham as nightclub singer Miss Adelaide, will play the Rialto in the spring. Des McAnuff ("Jersey Boys") directs the 1950 tuner, with music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows.

"Guys" begins perfs Feb. 3 ahead of a March 1 opening at the Nederlander Theater. Howard Panter for Ambassador Theater Group produces with Tulchin/Bartner/Jenkins, Bill Kenwright and Darren Bagert.
