The Jerry Bruckheimer thriller scored the "back five" pickup late Monday afternoon. "Eleventh Hour" has performed so-so for the Eye, holding on to only a portion of its strong "CSI" lead-in -- hence the smaller-than-usual full-season order.
But "Eleventh Hour" has nonetheless been winning its timeslot in total auds, averaging 12 million viewers (putting it No. 2 among new series, behind "The Mentalist"). "Eleventh Hour" also averages a 3.3 rating/9 share among adults 18-49.
Warner Bros. TV is behind the show, which revolves around a biophysicist (Rufus Sewell) who investigates science mysteries. Marley Shelton also stars as an FBI officer teamed with Sewell's character.
Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman, Danny Cannon, Cyrus Voris, Ethan Reiff and Mick Davis exec produce. "Eleventh Hour" is based on the British mini written by Stephen Gallagher.
