Interim host Tom Brokaw, former anchor of "NBC Nightly News," will talk to Obama in an exclusive interview to air Sunday, the network said.
CBS' "60 Minutes" landed the first interview with Obama following his election on Nov. 4.
Obama last appeared on "Meet the Press" in July, following the overseas tour he took that month.
Brokaw has been moderating "Meet the Press" since former host Tim Russert died suddenly earlier this year. NBC said Brokaw would cover the job until the Peacock decided on a permanent replacement, who would likely be announced after the presidential election.
But an NBC spokeswoman said the network had "nothing to announce."
