'Inishmaan' to settle at Atlantic

Irish cast makes move to Off Broadway digs

Off Broadway’s Atlantic Theater Company will bring over the Irish cast of Martin McDonagh’s play “The Cripple of Inishmaan” in the Garry Hynes-helmed production that has toured the U.K.

The Atlantic later produced McDonagh’s “The Lieutenant of Inishmore,” which also went on to a stint on Broadway.

Thesps appearing in “Inishmaan” include Aaron Monaghan, Kerry Condon and Andrew Connolly.

The play had its U.S. preem in a Jerry Zaks-helmed staging at the Public Theater in 1998. At the Atlantic, show begins previews Dec. 9 ahead of a Dec. 21 opening.
