Toplined by two thesps who haven't appeared on the Rialto since the 1980s, "Impressionism" looks to follow in the footsteps of fellow star-driven play offering (and current Schoenfeld occupant) "All My Sons," which has been logging unusually robust sales in its limited engagement.
The new play by Michael Jacobs centers on the relationship between a photojournalist and a gallery owner. Jack O'Brien ("The Coast of Utopia," "Hairspray") directs.
Ostar Prods. ("The Seafarer," "The Country Girl") produces the world preem, which bows Feb. 28 ahead of a March 12 opening.
