Perhaps best known for his two Oscar-nommed roles, in "Schindler's List" ('93) and "The English Patient" ('96), Fiennes continues to show his formidable range. The Brit thesp mixes it up by working in indie films as well as studio fare -- he had an explosive cameo in fall fest fave "The Hurt Locker," and he plays Voldemort in the "Harry Potter" series. As for Fiennes' 2008 releases, he served up a fierce gangster surprise in "In Bruges," an icy Duke of Devonshire in "The Duchess" and the grown-up version of the teenager who read to Kate Winslet's SS guard in "The Reader."
