Hill was a founding partner of publicity firm Falco Ink and formerly worked with Clein and White.
He began his career as assistant to Brian DePalma, working on such films as "Scarface," "Blow Out" and "Dressed To Kill."
He became involved in publicity in the mid-80s, utilizing his first-hand knowledge of the film industry to expand standard publicity campaigns in new ways. In January of 1999, he helped found Falco Ink., where he served as partner until 2005.
After moving to Lenox, Mass. in 2006, he became a founding board member for the annual Berkshire Film Festival in Great Barrington, Mass.
Hill, who had a deep knowledge and love of film, was instrumental in establishing the strong programming the festival was able to acquire in its formative years.
He is survived by his mother and a brother.
