Daniel Abrams dies at 25

APA assistant was pursuing screenwriting

Daniel Abrams, an assistant in the literary department at APA, died Nov. 3 in Beverly Hills. He was 25.

Born in Boston and raised in Pawtucket, R.I., Abrams moved to Los Angeles soon after earning his undergraduate degree from Yale.

He began his career at APA in 2007 and was pursuing a career as a screenwriter.

"Dan was one of the youngest and brightest members of the APA family, and he was taken away from us entirely too soon," said APA President and CEO Jim Gosnell.

Abrams is survived by his parents, a brother, a sister and his grandmother.
