Jinga has also closed an eight-film package deal with Viswaas Films for India and Malaysia.
The package includes Tom Tyrwhitt’s youth thriller “Hush Your Mouth,” starring Jason Meza and Khalid Abdalla, Simon Welsford’s conspiracy thriller “Jetsam,” starring Alex Reid and Shauna Macdonald, and Julian Richards coming-of-age thriller “Summer Scars.”
Earlier this week, Jinga sold “Summer Scars” and Omar Ali Khan’s zombie comedy “Hell’s Ground” to MIG Film for all rights in German-speaking Europe.
Jinga pics screening at AFM include Gregory Mandrey’s horror “Gnaw,” which charts the gruesome ordeal of six friends who find themselves on the menu of a sadistic family of cannibals, and Johnny Kervorkian’s supernatural thriller “The Disappeared,” about a young man searching for his abducted brother.
