Eye has yanked the drama off the sked, effective this Friday. A repeat of "NCIS" will air in its place.
Decision comes after "The Ex List" averaged 5.3 million viewers and a 1.5 rating/5 share in its final airing, last Friday. "The Ex List" repped CBS' weak link on Friday nights, where "Ghost Whisperer" and "Numbers" both won their hours.
CBS had aired four episodes of "The Ex List," which was in the middle of production on episode 11. It's unclear whether production will continue, or if the show's shelved episodes will be seen.
Decision to pull "The Ex List" also comes following exec producer Diane Ruggiero's decision to quit as showrunner last month. Ruggiero departed after she and the network clashed over the show's direction.
Since then, exec producer Rick Eid has served as showrunner.
"The Ex List" reps the first hourlong scripted series to be pulled this fall. Other early casualties this season include Fox's laffer "Do Not Disturb" and reality skein "Hole in the Wall," as well as ABC's reality entry "Opportunity Knocks."
"The Ex List" starred Elizabeth Reaser as a single woman who's told by a psychic that she's already met her soulmate -- and that they have a year to reconnect if she ever wishes to wed. Show was based on the Israeli TV skein "Mythological X."
Series also starred Rachel Boston, Adam Rothenberg, Alexandra Breckenridge and Amir Talai.
Other exec producers included Segahl Avin -- the creator of the original show and a consultant on the U.S. version -- as well as Avi Nir, Mosh Danon and Jonathan Levin.
News came so quickly that it even caught CBS publicity off guard; net just announced Monday that CBS Records band Karmina had been tapped to provide the show's theme song, "Find You."
