Mayer will handle all U.S.-based development and sales in the nonfiction realm for the company. Exec joins from 44 Blue Prods., where she was director of development.
At 44 Blue, Mayer worked on projects for TLC and VH1. Before that, she worked as manager of development and production for the Fox TV Studios-based Incubator.
She’ll be based in Los Angeles.
Alchemy Reality, which launched in 2007, was behind the BBC2 series "Scene Stealers," which is now being shopped in the U.S. Company also has a project in the works in France.
