Pic takes a dark look behind the announcement of a marriage between two celebrities whose fans have been tracking their romance and rooting for nuptials.
"There are four main characters, the couple and their managers, plus a number of cameo appearances," helmer Ekachai Uekrongtham (second ref: Uekrongtham) ("Beautiful Boxer") told Variety. "We are just finishing the paperwork for our two stars and are looking at some regional casting too. As we've done all the location scouting and their talent availability is set we should be good to go from mid-November."
Pic is being produced by MediaCorp Raintree and Scorpio East on a budget of S$1.5 million ($1 million.) Screenplay is by Desmond Sim, Dennis Chew and Uekrongtham.
Pic will be released in Singapore by Golden Village in time for Chinese New Year in late January. International sales have yet to be set.
