All are produced for RHI by Muse Entertainment Enterprises. RHI will also distribute the films in key territories worldwide.
Two have wrapped location shoots in Romania: “Hellhounds,” directed by Rick Schroder (“Andromeda Strain,” “24”), about a Greek warrior battling in 500 B.C. against the hellhounds of Hades; and “Rise of the Gargoyle,” directed by Bill Corcoran (“Atomic Twister,” “Viper”) and starring Eric Balfour (“24,” “Six Feet Under”) as a struggling writer in Paris confronting a gargoyle monster.
The other three TV movies, also shooting on location in Romania, move into production shortly: “Alien Western,” set in an 1890s Old West township; “Carney,” based on the Jersey Devil legend; and “Sand Serpents,” with American soldiers in Afghanistan battling the Taliban and huge man-eating serpents. Films will be exec produced by Muse Entertainment prexy-CEO Michael Prupas, Robert Halmi Sr. and Robert Halmi Jr.
