Photography distributor Getty Images has unveiled makes a collection of popular music available for commercial licensing in motion pictures, broadcast, advertising, websites and other new media.

The Premium Playlist music collection will be available through www.gettyimages.com. Getty Images currently manages the Pump Audio library of more than 100,000 titles by independent artists.

Cherry Lane Music Publishing, Kobalt Music Group, Koch Records, Lionsgate, Nettwerk, Red Light Management and Warner/Chappell Music are among the entities that have inked non-exclusive deals with Getty Images.

The collection has officially launched with an initial catalog of more than 1,000 songs from such artists as Barenaked Ladies, Smash Mouth, and Howard Jones, and music from Lionsgate properties such as "Mad Men," "Weeds" and "3:10 to Yuma."
