Slavin will oversee strategic initiatives to support the studio's slate and will report to Debbie Miller, head of worldwide marketing. She will work with Miller to form collaborative marketing relationships with the diverse portfolio of media assets within CBS. Slavin also will be responsible for securing and maximizing third-party promotional partnerships.
Slavin segues to CBS Films from Warner Bros. Pictures, where she served as senior VP of promotions, spearheading tie-ins for such films as "Get Smart," "Happy Feet" and "Superman Returns" and working with brands including McDonald's, Visa, Pepsi and Comcast. Most recently, Slavin was responsible for assembling the largest and most lucrative promotional campaign in the studio's history for "The Dark Knight."
Slavin had been with Warners since 1996, including an eight-year stint at Warner Home Video as head of promotions. Before Warners, she was director of promotions for 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment.
