Gainsbourg, Duris join 'Persecution'

Chereau film starts shoot next week

PARIS — Gallic thesps Charlotte Gainsbourg and Romain Duris (“Moliere”) will topline Patrice Chereau's "Persecution," which starts shooting next week in Paris.

Produced by French shingle Move Movie, pic is based on an original screenplay by Anne-Louise Trividic and Chereau about a tumultuous love story.

International rights to "Persecution," which is a co-production with Arte, have been picked up by Paris-based sales and distribution company MK2.
