Melissa Leo has signed on to star alongside James Gandolfini and Kristen Stewart in the indie drama "Welcome to the Rileys," to be directed by Jake Scott.

Story revolves around a couple (Gandolfini, Leo) driven apart by the death of their daughter but brought back together when they meet a troubled young woman (Stewart). Ken Hixon wrote the screenplay.

Film begins shooting this month in New Orleans.

Argonaut Pictures and Scott Free Prods. are fully financing and co-producing the film.

Leo stars in the Sundance grand prize winner "Frozen River." She recently wrapped indie drama "Don McKay" alongside Thomas Haden Church and Elisabeth Shue.
