Cole Hauser inks talent deal at CBS

Network impressed by performance in 'Tower'

Thesp Cole Hauser has sealed a talent deal with CBS and its sister CBS Paramount Network TV studio.

Hauser, seen in the Tyler Perry feature "The Family That Preys," most recently starred in the CBS Paramount pilot "The Tower," which the Eye eventually passed on. But the net and studio were impressed enough with Hauser that this talent deal came out of that performance.

Hauser's credits include the Fox drama "K-Ville," in which he starred opposite Anthony Anderson. On TV, he also appeared in "ER" and the Steven Spielberg-produced "High Incident." Feature credits include "Tigerland," "While Oleander," "2 Fast 2 Furious" and "The Breakup."

Thesp next will appear opposite Laurence Fishburne in "Tortured" and in "Like Dandelion Dust."
