Network has picked up a pilot presentation for a half-hour animated comedy that centers on two high school surfer dudes living near the beach in California.
"Pineapple Express" helmer David Gordon Green is writing the project and will exec produce, along with Good Humor TV's Tom Werner and Mike Clements and animator Brad Ableson.
20th Century Fox TV is producing "Good Vibes." Project originated at Warner Bros. TV, which is loaning out Good Humor TV's services but is no longer a producer on the project.
"Good Vibes" joins Fox's growing slate of animation development, as it looks to freshen up and expand that portion of its lineup.
Green's credits include the features "Snow Angels," "Undertow" and "All the Real Girls."
