Star India Plus, Star One, Star India News and Vijay debuted on DirecTV in November 2004 and now have a multi-year renewal.
They are available as part of DirecTV's HindiDirect I and HindiDirect II packages on the 116-channel WorldDirect programming platform.
Separately, Star announced Thursday the appointment of David Radoczy as its chief technology officer, replacing Dr. Guo Xiao Yong. Radoczy joins from Nine Network Australia.
