At Pusan, the Busan Film Commission will take centerstage as the Asian Film Commissions Network holds its first Asia-Pacific Film Policy Forum during Bifcom this year. The BFC provides various support programs, including development funds for films about Busan, feature film production support for companies and directors in the Busan area, and HD short film production support with $10,000 to $20,000 grants. It also offers location shooting support.
Jeonju Film Commission has been evolving as well. The commission assisted such big films as "The Good the Bad the Weird" and "The Devine Weapon" while opening a film studio in April. The commission also provides an incentive program.
Smaller cities like Incheon and Jecheon, which launched film commissions in 2006 and also offer location support and and incentives, are starting to gain traction by focusing on TV production.
