Griffin earned her second consecutive Emmy in the reality program category on Sept. 13 for the show, which wrapped its fourth season in August. Bravo has not yet set an airdate for season five of the skein, which follows her adventures as an actress and standup comic as well as her Bravo comedy specials.
News of the “D-List” pickup came as several publications speculated that Griffin was set to ankle the comedy-reality series and move to another network.
Reports said Griffin was being “aggressively pursued” by other nets, some of which are offering her multi-tiered deals involving latenight and awards show-hosting duties.
A press rep for Griffin’s agency, Endeavor, said there’s “absolutely no truth” to these reports.
