Goldstein to exec produce 'Boldly'
Fox comedy comes from 'Philadelphia' team

The laffer, from the team behind FX cult fave "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" -- Rob McElhenney, Glenn Howerton and Charlie Day -- is on the fast track at Fox, where execs are said to be high on the project.
Fox has already picked up a pilot, set to shoot this fall, and five additional scripts. McElhenney, Howerton and Day are finishing up this season's "Sunny" order while also overseeing "Boldly" with Goldstein.
The single-camera half-hour is a high-concept comedy set in the future and focused on the mundane world of a spaceship captain when he's not on a mission.
"Boldly" is based on an idea from "Sunny" writers' assistant Adam Stein, who is also involved in the project.
Goldstein most recently worked on "The New Adventures of Old Christine." He also co-wrote the script "The $40,000 Man" for New Line and Benderspink and is rewriting the scripts "Burt Dickenson" and "Hours of Fun" along with writing partner John Francis Daley.
Goldstein, McElhenney, Howerton and Day are all exec producers alongside 3 Arts' Michael Rotenberg and Nick Frenkel. Twentieth Century Fox TV is producing, along with 3 Arts and RCG.
