WMA to handle Japanese TV

Agency to rep three variety show formats

William Morris Agency is repping three variety show formats from Japan's TV Asahi network in the U.S. and U.K. markets.

WMA will handle "Ai no apron" (Love's Apron) in which celebs compete in cooking contests; "Geinojin setsuyaku battle ikkagetsu ichimanen" (Celebrity Economic Battle -- One Month, 10,000 yen) in which celebs try to live on 10,000 yen ($95.63) for a month; and "Kakuzuke shiau onnatachi" (Women Rate Each Other), in which femme contestants rate each other on various topics, with input from celeb guests.

WMA is selling the first two formats in the U.S. and U.K. and the last Stateside only.
