The fest will preem 20 shorts from helmers worldwide. This year's theme, "All Tribes Unite," will be given to hand-picked filmmakers two weeks before the gala. Their pics will be judged by a panel including Michel Shane and Martha De Laurentiis.
Founder Mikki Willis touted the fest as the first socially conscious filmmaking competish.
"We've seen some phenomenal works over the past several events ... and we anticipate another night of great filmmaking in front of our largest crowd ever," Willis said.
Tickets are free to the public on a first come, first serve basis at the Nokia box office.
